Hello everyone. 1 AM Media turned one this week, which inspired me to launch it publicly for more people to see. The hard launch was fairly successful, the Instagram followings growing, as well as subscribers on Substack. In light of the small rise in readers, I think it’s necessary to explain to you what this is, and provide a little guide to my previous posts.
1 AM Media is my Substack page. Substack allows writers to create an email-based newsletter that sends content directly to subscribers. That means, if you’re subscribed, my posts are sent directly to your email.
Substack also gives creators the option to have a paid subscription. A goal of mine is to open up 1 AM Media to paid subscriptions. However, paid subscriptions are not coming any time soon and they would never be mandatory. They will be cheap when that day comes, so stay tuned.
If you’re new here, you may or may not (probably not) be wondering where to start in 1 AM’s catalog of exceptional content. Luckily, I can provide a few insights on some of the different types of posts you’ll see in the future.
You may be a fan of fiction. If that’s the case, you should start with Georgie and Wilbur’s Outlandish School Stories. Catch up before the thrilling finale is released! They should ideally be read in this order:
My next post will likely be the finale of Georgie and Wilbur’s tales. They have been a pleasure to write, but all good things eventually come to an end. They need to make space for even better things in the future.
Aside from fiction, I write pieces about anything from music, to movies, to my own life, to many things in between. Consider giving some of the old pieces a look, you might find something you like, which helps me going forward.
Housekeeping aside, this is my favorite thing to do. I love writing these pieces and working on 1 AM Media. It is the most fulfilling project I have ever worked on. Readers who have been here a while have heard these things a million times. Regardless, I sincerely appreciate your support and it’s great to have you here.
Thank you.
Until next time.
